Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site: FamilyFinder Index
FREE CD Look-ups!
This is not a "German" site but it is great and FTM has world pedigrees too. I am assuming many of you use www.familytreemaker.com but most have not bought the CD's. Try this site for free look ups on FTM (and other) CD's after you have used the FTM site to locate the CD that interests you. I (Rich) tried it and have already have gotten some response. [Another group member says: You can even just pick the census year of an area or state CD and send off to see if your family is on that census. It is really a most useful, helpful site--whatever genealogy program you use.]
